Prototype-based programming - Prototype-based programming is a style and subset of object-oriented programming in which classes are not present, and behaviour reuse (known as inheritance in class-based languages) is done by cloning existing objects which serve as prototypes for the new ones. It is also known as class-less, prototype-oriented, or instance-based programming.
